Version history: - v1 (10.5281/zenodo.23108624) Oct 2, 2026: V7.1 canonical - Fourth Law framework - v2 (10.5281/zenodo.23113019) Oct 3, 2026: FixNEW V4 Point 1 - Conservation Derived - v3 (this version) Oct 9, 2026: VAV FRAMEWORK Exergy and Anergy - A Research Update (single document) Abstract: This concise research update introduces the distinction between vacuum exergy (B_AV) and complementary anergy balance in the VAV framework. B_AV(z) = rho_DE(z)[1+w(z)] is defined as a draft hypothesis, not an established observable. The corrected continuity equation, explicit VAV(z) = (1/3) rho_DE(z)[1+w(z)]/E(z) term, and verification protocol for numerical integration and model selection (chi2, AIC, BIC via full joint likelihood) are outlined. No empirical claim of preference over LambdaCDM is made in this update. This version contains only one document, no supplementary table. Authoritative input table with original vs corrected values remains in V10.1 technical note. Keywords: vacuum exergy, anergy, dark energy, VAV framework, DESI DR2, cosmological thermodynamics License: CC BY 4.0 Related: IsNewVersionOf 10.5281/zenodo.23113019
