The Timbre, Structure and Emotion of the Guitar Instrument Carried in Musical Works
This paper seeks to examine the role of the guitar, based on the classical, acoustic and electric instrument, through the analysis of some of the most influential works in the history of world music. Through an interdisciplinary analysis that combines musicology, psychoacoustics, and philosophical aesthetics, the paper examines the reasons why the guitar instrument occupies a central role in the harmonious creation of musical masterpieces. The aim of this paper is to decode the emotional spectrum that stems from the direct contact of the body with the string, the flexibility of timbre articulation and the manipulation of digital acoustics. Through the analysis of world works created by Joaquín Rodrigo, Paco de Lucía, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, or even Albanian light music, the paper proves that the guitar part comes as a unique bridge between intimacy and expressive grandeur, becoming the primary voice of existential experience in the music of the 20th and 21st centuries.
