A Founding of the World Mummy Swimming Confederation (W.M.S.C) in 2007: From Invention to International Recognition
The World Mummy Swimming Confederation (W.M.S.C) was founded in 2007 by Dr. Mohammad Safdari — a 15% chemically injured war veteran and retired teacher. With over 50 member countries, this confederation is recognized as the official authority for Mummy Swimming at the international level. This paper examines the founding process, organizational structure, objectives, and international recognition of this confederation. The results of this research show that the World Mummy Swimming Confederation is not only a sports institution — but an international movement to introduce a rare athletic method.
