Abstract; Social media has become an important marketing tool for businesses to reach and influence consumers. This study examines the impact of social media marketing on consumer purchase decisions. It focuses on the role of social media advertisements, online reviews, influencer recommendations, and engaging content in shaping consumers’ purchase intentions and buying behaviour. The study aims to understand how consumers use social media information when evaluating products and making purchase decisions. It also explores the extent to which social media platforms create awareness, build trust, and influence consumers’ perceptions of brands and products. The study considers how factors such as the credibility of online reviews, frequency of advertisements, influencer engagement, and interactive content contribute to consumers’ purchase intentions. In addition, the study seeks to identify the relationship between social media engagement and actual buying behaviour among consumers. The findings are expected to provide insights into the effectiveness of social media marketing and its influence on consumer behaviour.
