Didactic Conditions for Cultivating Speech Culture in Native Language Instruction
This article provides a scientific and methodological analysis of the didactic conditions for developing pupils’ speech culture in mother tongue education. It substantiates that the effectiveness of speech culture development depends on educational content, teaching methods, pedagogical communication, the nature of learning tasks, the speech environment, and the organization of pupils’ independent speech activity. The study identifies the target, content-based, methodological, communicative, reflective, and assessment components of speech culture development. The consistent use of reproductive, productive, and creative speech tasks, modeling of speech situations, development of dialogic and monologic speech, and organization of reflective activities aimed at analyzing and evaluating pupils’ own speech are identified as effective didactic conditions. The study substantiates that the proposed system of didactic conditions contributes to the development of pupils’ ability to construct correct, accurate, logical, coherent, and contextually appropriate speech.
