ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF PRODUCTION EXPANSION WITHIN THE STRATEGY FOR ENSURING RESOURCE INDEPENDENCE

The article outlines measures to increase the in-house production volume of Kubanprodukt-Service LLC (Krasnodar) – a company engaged in both the wholesale and manufacture of beer–aiming to reduce supplier dependency and expand the product range to successfully capture new market segments, thereby improving the company's financial position. A phased expansion of in-house production is proposed, involving a gradual shift away from purchasing beer from external suppliers. The first stage recommends ceasing purchases from the Becker company and producing an equivalent volume (3 tons/day) in-house; the second stage involves a gradual phase-out of purchases from the ASB Group plant, replaced by in-house production of 4.5 tons/day. To address the need for increased capacity, the market for brewery equipment manufacturers was analyzed, justifying the selection of "turnkey" equipment from the NOMAS tank equipment plant. The economic efficiency of expanding in-house production to ensure resource independence was calculated. Changes to the organizational structure resulting from the introduction of a technologist position are presented, and the potential for using modern technologies to boost brewery productivity is examined.
