Tessellation Through Time, LoS Restoration Atlas, v16, Oct 2026

Tessellation Through Time extends the Restoration Atlas's theory of invariance into a temporal and relational account of field formation. The paper proposes that six stable relational questions can be applied repeatedly through time while each field retains its own mechanisms, evidence, boundaries, and characteristic timing. This work builds on the developmental architecture of Lantern of Sulfur. Failure of Clearance identified the problem of activity continuing without completion. ATP and the Architecture of Biological Execution developed the relationships among timing, load, execution, compensation, and consequence. Invariance (v15) established stable relational interrogation, locally earned answers, and the rules for crossing consequential boundaries. Language Resists Geometry (v14) made simultaneous relational states and their trajectories through time explicit. The companion Questions That Survive Translation (v14) examines how relational questions move between independent knowledge systems without transferring their mechanisms or answers. The present paper carries that architecture into receiver-side transformation. A consequential handoff does not transfer the producing field's mechanism intact. Instead, the receiving field reorganizes according to its own conditions and capacities. Repeated receiver-side transformations may create new local capabilities, preserve capacity for future activity, or transmit compensatory obligations into subsequent fields. When these consequences become jointly consequential, they may form a new global field requiring independent interrogation. The paper introduces the Prometheus effect as a form of receiver-side perceptual transformation, distinguishes successful from compensatory tessellation, and examines the requirement that consequential transitions remain answerable to external evidence and reality. Part of the Lantern of Sulfur / Restoration Atlas corpus, this conceptual and hypothesis-generating preprint develops locally timed trajectories, receiver-side transformation, inheritance, and local-to-global field formation. It proposes falsifiable tests but does not report completed experimental validation. Abstract
