Finite element spaces for HΛk on cubical meshes by piecewise Whitney forms

This paper constructs finite element spaces built from piecewise Whitney forms on cubical meshes. These spaces provide consistent approximations of H Λ k and implementable discretizations for H Λ k problems in ℝ 𝑛 , for 0 ≤ k ≤ n and n ≥ 2.

Abstract

This paper constructs finite element spaces built from piecewise Whitney forms on cubical meshes. These spaces provide consistent approximations of H Λ k and implementable discretizations for H Λ k problems in ℝ 𝑛 , for 0 ≤ k ≤ n and n ≥ 2.
