The effectiveness of growing a hybrid of Russian and Siberian sturgeon when using different amounts of an attractant in feeding

The paper presents the results of an experiment on the study of growth processes and feed conversion of a hybrid of Russian and Siberian sturgeons under the influence of various dosages of the “Salmon 10.05.003 Z” DEL`AR attractant during aquarium cultivation. Based on the obtained data, the gains in fish body weight were calculated, which allowed for an objective assessment of the effectiveness of using the attractant at different levels of supplementation. The highest gain in body weight was observed in the experimental group, where the dosage of 0.3 g of the “Salmon 10.05.003 Z” DEL`AR attractant per 1 kg of feed was used. In this group, the fish had a higher growth rate and better feed intake, indicating a positive effect of the additive on their feeding behavior and metabolism. The economic efficiency of growing the hybrid sturgeon was calculated, and the results were confirmed. The group that received feed with 0.3 g of attractant per 1 kg of feed had the highest gross profit. The profitability of farming in this group was 38.66%, which is 15.69% higher than in the control group. Therefore, the optimal dosage of the “Salmon 10.05.003 Z” DEL`AR attractant for feeding Russian and Siberian sturgeon hybrids is 0.3 g per 1 kg of feed. This dosage increases growth rate, improves feeding efficiency, and provides the highest economic return for sturgeon farming.
