The Effectiveness of Active Learning on Students' Achievement in Islamic Education and Developing Their Citizenship Values
The current research aims to identify (The Effectiveness of Two Active Learning Strategies on the Achievement of Second Intermediate Grade Students in the Holy Quran and Islamic Education Subject and the Development of Their Citizenship Values.). The researcher adopted the quasi-experimental method, and used two scales to measure the variables of his research. The first scale was the achievement scale in mathematics and consisted of (40) paragraphs of the type of multiple choice, and verified its reliability, stability and discrimination, as well as conducting statistical analysis of its paragraphs, and the researcher prepared a citizenship values scale, and the scale in its final form consisted of (38) paragraphs and verified its reliability, stability and discrimination, and the results showed that the experimental group outperformed the control group in the mathematics achievement scale and the citizenship values scale. The researcher suggested conducting studies on the effectiveness of two active learning strategies in acquiring numerical concepts among first intermediate students and developing their logical thinking. The researcher also recommended emphasizing the necessity of teaching the use of active learning strategies in general at the intermediate stage. And the adoption of national values in the teaching of mathematics in the intermediate stages because of its importance in promoting and developing patriotism among students The researcher also recommended emphasizing the need to teach the use of active learning strategies in general at the intermediate stage.
