Six Reflections on Shri Rama: Name, Service, Society, Epic, Reality and Rajyam
This article brings together six reflections on Shri Rama, originally published as a single collection and presented here as six sections. The first examines the devotional power of the Divine Name, arguing that chanting “Shri Rama” reorients the mind, cultivates surrender and opens the devotee to grace rather than guaranteeing the removal of hardship. The second offers a playful “job posting” for the Devotee Serving Lord Rama, an unpaid vocation open to all. The third presents a society founded on Rama-consciousness, composed in the conventional layout of a research paper. The fourth retells the Ramayana through the chant of the Name, kanda by kanda. The fifth reads Rama as the Supreme Reality in a devotional and metaphysical “theory of everything.” The sixth sets out a public-welfare vision of Rama Rajyam grounded in dharma, truth, justice, compassion and service. Together, the sections present the Name, service, society, epic, reality and rule of Rama as facets of a single devotional vision. Keywords: Dharma; Shri Rama; Rama Nama; japa; bhakti; Ramayana; Rama Rajyam
