The Effect of White Noise and Manual Fetal Positioning During Venous Blood Collection on Pain, Oxygen Saturation, and Vital Signs in Term Newborns
Objective: To determine the effect of white noise and fetal position on acute pain, oxygen saturation and vital signs in term newborns during venous blood collection. Materials and Methods: This study was conducted on 160 term newborns. The data were collected using an information form, a vital signs evaluation form and the Neonatal Infant Pain Scale, and analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent and paired samples t-test, Anova, repeated measures Anova. Results: The study included four groups. There was no significant difference between the groups in terms of demographic characteristics.
