MediCare: A Web-Based Hospital Appointment System with WebRTC Video Consultations and Local Mobile Payment Integration

Getting timely medical advice remains difficult in regional areas due to long lines, OPD congestion, and travel constraints. We built MediCare, a multi-user web portal simplifying hospital workflows and telemedicine. Patients can search specialists, book time slots, pay using local mobile wallets like EasyPaisa and JazzCash, join browser-based video calls, and download digital prescriptions. Testing across Patient, Doctor, and Admin roles demonstrated fast video connection speeds, secure transaction handling, and accurate administrative tracking.
