The genome sequence of greater bird’s-foot-trefoil, Lotus pedunculatus Cav., 1793 (Fabales: Fabaceae)
We present a genome assembly of Lotus pedunculatus (greater bird’s-foot-trefoil; Streptophyta; Magnoliopsida; Fabales; Fabaceae). The genome sequence has a total length of 480.46 megabases. Most of the assembly (99.99%) is scaffolded into 6 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome assembly has a length of 434.02 kilobases and the plastid genome assembly has a length of 151.59 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
