Beyond Conspiratorial Narratives: A Tri-Structural Topology of Systemic Financial Collapse across Endogenous Phase Transitions, Arbitrage Weaponization, and Populist Retail Financialization
Abstract: Conventional discourse surrounding systemic financial dislocations remains trapped in a sterile dichotomy between superficial conspiratorial plots attributing crashes to external malice and orthodox macroeconomic apologies dismissing catastrophic shocks as unpredictable stochastic noise. This technical monograph transcends this false binary by formalizing systemic collapse through a unified tri-structural topology grounded in complex systems theory, discrete interval mathematics, and thermodynamic institutional dynamics. First, under the Endogenous Topology Hypothesis, we demonstrate that financial structures such as the 2008 subprime mortgage apparatus and modern tokenomics collapse not through foreign sabotage, but through the mathematical inevitability of the fencepost problem, wherein abstract securitization layers detach from physical-layer productive work, resulting in catastrophic entropy dissipation when marginal liquidity inputs diminish. Second, under the Structural Arbitrage Hypothesis, we prove that market crashes are triggered when rational market participants identify latent institutional flaws and execute asymmetric short positions, turning institutional design flaws into catastrophic leverage points. Third, under the Populist Transmission Hypothesis, we formalize the necessary condition for sovereign-scale systemic crisis: the political mobilization of household savings and retirement reserves into speculative asset pools under the seductive banner of painless wealth creation. By synthesizing these three structural hypotheses, we prove that financial crashes are deterministic phase transitions governed by institutional incentives, demonstrating that genuine economic sovereignty requires terminating financial alchemy and anchoring economic order upon physical thermodynamic productivity.
