Topological Model of Dark Matter: How Torn Spacetime Fabric Explains Everything

This work presents a conceptual journey from questioning the standard dark matter model to proposing an alternative interpretation: dark matter as a topological property of spacetime fabric itself. Through a series of logical steps and structural analogies (quantum wells in semiconductor lasers, football fields, twisted carpets), we show how the observed structure of the Universe—galaxies, clusters, voids—can be interpreted as matter "trapped" in topological folds arising from the initial rupture. This model elegantly explains three fundamental problems of modern cosmology: the non-detection of dark matter particles, the Hubble tension, and the Bullet Cluster anomaly. The work is written for a broad audience but includes mathematical correspondences for specialists in the final section.
