Correctable Coherence: Preserving Future Correction Capacity Under Model Change
Correctable Coherence proposes a cross-domain repair criterion for systems operating under continuing model change. It distinguishes present coherence from future correction capacity and defines corrigibility capacity, viable repair, model-boundary events, and repair frontiers. The framework is positioned relative to belief revision, resilience engineering, AI corrigibility, Ashby's requisite variety, the good-regulator theorem, and recoverable organization, and concludes with falsifiable hypotheses.
