Knowledge Mesh - natural language processing (KM NLP) final report
This report describes the KM-NLP project, which developed and evaluated components for natural-language discovery, construction, and execution of scientific data workflows. The framework is designed to generalize across NOAA mission areas rather than a single domain; space weather was selected as the initial, depth-first proof-of-concept domain, and the project additionally demonstrated the architecture’s domain generality with a cross-domain terrestrial-weather case study (Hurricane Florence WRF modeling and rendering) and an in-progress extension toward coastal-flooding impacts (WaveWatch III).
