Teaching STEAM in Secondary General Music Using Scratch and Makey Makey: Part II
Building on the conceptual foundation introduced in Part I, this article presents a practical example of technology-enhanced STEAM learning in secondary general music using Scratch and Makey Makey. Guided by the 5E Instructional Model, the lesson engages students in creative music-making while developing computational thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. Through coding and interactive design, students explore connections between musical creativity and technology in an interdisciplinary learning environment. The lesson offers music educators an accessible model for translating STEAM concepts into classroom practice.
