Desmore Frequency™: The Frequency–Tonal Context Hypothesis
Desmore Frequency™ is a proposed research hypothesis developed by Bianca Ocean Maria Desmore that examines whether the musical key surrounding a specific acoustic frequency influences the listener's psychological and physiological response. While previous research has explored Solfeggio frequencies, musical tuning, and the effects of music on the nervous system, this hypothesis focuses on the interaction between frequency and tonal context. The model introduces nine proposed frequency-key pairings and outlines a controlled experimental approach comparing isolated frequencies, musical keys, and their combinations. The central question is whether keeping a frequency constant while changing its surrounding musical key produces measurable differences in stress, mood, attention, or physiological activity. Desmore Frequency™ presents these pairings as experimental predictions rather than established therapeutic effects. The purpose is to investigate whether the relationship between acoustic frequency and musical tonality contributes to how humans respond to sound.
