Older People Hit The Waves: Computational Simulation based on Equations of Motion
This simulation note was written to understand, explain, and potentially predict, through physics, the position older people occupy in our society as portrayed in television dramas. To this end, it extracts the age groups of older characters from digitally accessible and readable materials on TV dramas from 2012 to 2025 and constructs a dataset by drama and year. The materials used in the analysis are limited to those digitally verifiable as of October 8, 2026. Accordingly, the simulation and its results serve as a provisional test of whether the proposed computational equations can operate as intended. The author's knowledge of physics extends only to high-school Physics II studied decades ago. He can translate a social-scientific idea into a physics-inspired idea, but does not pursue the technical development further himself. Instead, all procedural information about the AI's work is disclosed. The author would be delighted to encounter a similar attempt by someone else someday.
