Prevention and management of extrahepatic bile duct injuries during laparoscopic cholecystectomy
This article addresses the issue of iatrogenic extrahepatic bile duct injuries (BDI) during laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The key etiological factors of this complication, including anatomical variations and the surgeon's "perception illusion," are analyzed. Special attention is paid to intraoperative prevention methods (such as the Critical View of Safety concept and intraoperative cholangiography) and therapeutic algorithms selected based on the timing of injury manifestation.
