The Shadow of Rotating FJNW Metric

We investigate the astrophysical aspects of the rotating Fisher–Janis–Newman–Winicour (FJNW) metric recently derived in [1]. The Hamilton–Jacobi equation is used to obtain the shadow of the rotating FJNW metric. We find that increasing the angular momentum parameter a and the metric parameter γ leads to an increase in the size of the shadow. Finally, we study the deflection angle of light in the rotating FJNW spacetime.

Abstract

We investigate the astrophysical aspects of the rotating Fisher–Janis–Newman–Winicour (FJNW) metric recently derived in [1]. The Hamilton–Jacobi equation is used to obtain the shadow of the rotating FJNW metric. We find that increasing the angular momentum parameter a and the metric parameter γ leads to an increase in the size of the shadow. Finally, we study the deflection angle of light in the rotating FJNW spacetime.
