REDISTRIBUTION OF T-CELL IMMUNITY (CD4/CD8) INDICATORS IN ACUTE DIARRHEAL DISEASES OCCURRING AGAINST THE BACKGROUND OF INTESTINAL PARASITOSIS

Redistribution of T-cell immunity (CD4/CD8) parameters in acute diarrhea against the background of intestinal parasitosis. The clinical picture of acute intestinal infections in young children changes significantly when concomitant parasitosis occurs, and profound immunological shifts underlie this phenomenon. This research aims to study the redistribution characteristics of Tcell immunity parameters, particularly the ratio of CD4+ and CD8+ lymphocytes, in the peripheral blood of patients under conditions of acute diarrhea and intestinal parasitosis coinfection. Clinical and immunological analyses involving 168 children showed that although global immunodeficiency does not occur against the background of parasitosis, a subtle and latent redistribution process takes place among T-cell subpopulations. It has been scientifically proven that the downward trend of the immunoregulatory index (CD4/CD8) and the change in the correlation trajectory of CD8+ cells directly lead to the prolongation of pathological inflammation in the small intestine and an increase in the number of hospital days.
