The Dual-Energy Framework of Consciousness: A Structural Model for Indirect Measurement of Primary Awareness Through Gradual Biological Decoherence

This paper proposes a novel, non-reductionist framework called the Dual-Energy Framework (DEF) to address the 'Hard Problem of Consciousness.' We decouple the biological fuel necessary for maintaining organismal metabolic functions from the independent, non-physical primary observer entity (Primary Consciousness). Using structural physical analogies, we demonstrate how this non-physical current interacts with a dynamic, physical biological receiver (the brain and cellular matrix). The paper details how environmental interfaces alter the biological instrument at a microsecond level, causing a variable expression in the intensity of thoughts, behavior, and experiential accumulation. Furthermore, we model the phenomenon of disease and mortality not as a sudden cessation of life, but as a gradual voltage drop and final structural decoherence of the biological receiver from the primary constant energy source. This theoretical model incorporates established paradigms from quantum biology, information theory, and neuroplasticity to open new pathways for indirect empirical measurement of consciousness using existing neuro-imaging and quantum biological markers.
