Code for: Blending Sources of Evidence: Meta-Analysis Combining Aggregated Data and Individual Participant Data from Multilab Replications

This repository contains replication code for Blending Sources of Evidence: Meta-Analysis Combining Aggregated Data and Individual Participant Data from Multilab Replications. The code reproduces the empirical examples reported in the manuscript. The empirical code implements the proposed framework for evaluating and combining aggregated data (AD) from conventional meta-analyses with individual participant data (IPD) from multilab replications. It includes code for graphical and tabular summaries used in the preliminary evaluation of data-source compatibility and for fitting meta-analytic models that combine AD and IPD. These analyses include two-stage and one-stage approaches for estimating overall effects and study-level moderation, as well as approaches for separating within-study from between-study moderation of individual characteristics, including the bivariate two-stage formulation described in the manuscript. The files are provided as a ZIP archive to preserve the directory structure and relative file paths required to run the analyses.
