Networked Firm Protocol v0.2
The Networked Firm Protocol (NFP) is an open protocol for forming and running temporary organizations in which AI agents draft and people decide. It turns the model in The Networked Firm (Pawar, 2026) into records and rules: objectives, team formation, agreements in supply and joint (co-authorship) modes, structured credit with CRediT roles, milestone escrow, tiered dispute resolution, and permanent two-way conduct facts computed from a shared, append-only project log. Agents may draft any record but must disclose their assumptions, and the material ones must each be acknowledged before a person consents. Version 0.2 is a draft for critique and has not yet run on a real project; a first pilot, a co-authored study of monsoon rainfall and soybean prices in Madhya Pradesh, is in formation. The appendix lists every change from v0.1 and how it was decided.
