Impact of organizational goals, leadership styles, and organizational culture on employee outcomes in the Korean public sector
This study examines how organizational goals, leadership styles, and organizational culture influence employee outcomes in the Korean public sector. Using Structural Equation Modelling, data from 6,170 public servants were analysed. Organizational goals positively influenced commitment and performance efforts. Transactional leadership positively affected organizational culture and commitment but negatively affected performance efforts, whereas visionary leadership showed positive effects across all three outcomes. Organizational culture enhanced commitment and performance efforts, while organizational commitment positively influenced performance efforts and perceived organizational performance. Performance efforts also enhanced perceived organizational performance. These findings highlight how goals, leadership, and collaborative culture jointly shape employee and organizational outcomes.
