Inside Back Cover: Should I Stay or Should I Go—Leveraging an Overlooked Feature of Click‐to‐Release Chemistry for Affinity Labeling
Should I stay or should I go? A graffiti-covered wall captures the competing fates of a transient dihydropyridazine methide generated in click-to-release chemistry: quenching by water or covalent capture by a nearby protein. Harnessing this overlooked intermediate enables ligand-directed protein labelling, extending bioorthogonal release chemistry to persistent target modification. After all, DHP-methide is not dead!
