Circular logistics as part of the supply chain

This paper investigates circular logistics and its impact on the efficiency and sustainability of the supply chain. Key trends from 2019 to 2024 are analyzed, including the adoption of advanced technologies such as Blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence (AI), as well as recycling and material reuse, simplified product returns, and sustainable packaging. A qualitative analysis of secondary data, including scholarly articles and company reports, shows that the implementation of circular logistics reduces operational costs and waste, while its success depends on developed recycling infrastructure and the adaptation of business models. The study connects circular economy theory with practical examples, provides insights into the challenges and success factors in integrating circular models into supply chains, and offers guidance for future research and practical application.
