Upaya Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis Siswa Melalui Model Cooperative Integraded Reading And Composition (CIRC) Berbantuan Media Mind Mapping Kelas IV SDN 137 Akkotengeng Kabupaten Wajo

This study aims to describe the application of the Cooperative Integraded Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model combined with Mind Mapping media in Indonesian language subjects to improve the writing skills of fourth grade students of SDN 137 Akkotengeng, Wajo Regency. The approach used was a qualitative approach, and this type of research was Classroom Action Research with a research design using the model from Kemmis and McTaggart. Data analysis used was qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the study showed that, the results of observations of teacher teaching activities in cycle I, meeting 1, the observation results were 66.66% and meeting 2, the observation results were 73.33% so that both meetings were in the sufficient category. In cycle II, there was an increase, namely at meeting 1, the observation results were 93.33% and meeting 2, the observation results were 100% so that both meetings were in the good category. The results of observations of student learning activities in cycle I, meeting 1, the observation results were 60% and at meeting 2, the observation results were 66.66% so that both meetings were in the sufficient category. In cycle II, there was an increase, namely at meeting 1, the observation results were 86.66% with a good category and at meeting 2, the observation results were 93.33% with a good category. And the results of the performance test (performance) of students' writing skills in cycle I, there were 3 out of 18 students who achieved the success indicator with a percentage of classical skills of 63.88% with a sufficient category. Meanwhile, in Cycle II, 16 out of 18 students achieved the success indicator, with a classical skills percentage of 87.64%, in the very good category. Based on these research results, it can be concluded that the application of the Cooperative Integraded Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model combined with Mind Mapping media is effective in improving students' writing skills in Indonesian language learning in grade IV at SDN 137 Akkotengeng, Wajo Regency.
