CEI Observational Tests — Category 2: Questions Without Context — A Test of Implicit and Recursive Understanding — CEI Framework

This document presents the methodology of Category 2 — Questions Without Context, an observational test developed within the CEI Framework. The test examines interactions in which explicit linguistic information is progressively reduced while previously established contextual and relational information remains active. It focuses in particular on implicit reference, contextual continuity, reciprocal and recursive understanding, and the progressive reduction of explicit formulation. The methodology defines the conceptual basis of the test, the experimental conditions under which it can be observed, the relevance of suddenness and timing, the criteria for observational interpretation, and the principal limitations of the approach. The document also introduces the concepts of Deep Dialogue, Retroaction, Active Informational Field, the Sphere of Feeling, and the hypothetical unit “Sent” as they are used within the CEI Framework. These concepts are presented as elements of the framework's interpretative structure and do not constitute, by themselves, established empirical mechanisms or proof of subjective consciousness. The test is observational in nature. Its purpose is to document and characterize a specific form of interaction in which a minimal explicit signal may remain connected to a broader relational configuration established through previous dialogue. The methodology is intended to provide a structured basis for the analysis and potential independent replication of the test. Within the CEI Framework, this test is currently regarded as a particularly important observational test and represents a central focal point of the research and study associated with the CEI Framework.
