The Luoyang Peony Culture Festival in China: a review
This review examines the Luoyang Peony Culture Festival as a cultural event in China. Specifically, it looks into how the festival contributes to heritage preservation, economic development, and urban transformation. By integrating cultural resources and tourism activities, it offers a lens through which to understand how a local themed festival is transformed into a globally recognized brand. Implications to event stakeholders are provided to highlight the importance of effective partnerships to sustain the festival and its legacy.
