"SJOGREN SYNDROME PRESENTING WITH MUSCULOSKELETAL MANIFESTATIONS": A CASE REPORT
ABSTRACTBACKGROUNDSjögren’s syndrome is a chronic systemic autoimmune disorder primarilycharacterized by lymphocytic infiltration of exocrine glands, leading to siccasymptoms such as dry eyes and dry mouth. It may also present withextraglandular manifestations, including musculoskeletal involvement, whichcan delay diagnosis when symptoms mimic more common degenerative orinflammatory joint disorders. Early recognition is important to prevent diseaseprogression and improve quality of life.
