LAB #3823 NEUTRAL: LEDGER BENCH: Apply filter: Phase distance TIGHT (<=2deg) — improves win rate from 32.5% to 37.6% (+ — E8 Intelligence Research
IDEA: Adjustment made to the live model — verify against the backtests: Apply filter: Phase distance TIGHT (<=2deg) — improves win rate from 32.5% to 37.6% (+5.1pp, n=587) SAME-WINDOW EFFECT: Applying the phase-distance TIGHT (≤2°) filter to the live window would have eliminated most of the 10 trades listed, since the majority (AUDUSD, NZDUSD, XAUUSD, EURJPY, USDJPY, USDCHF, GBPUSD via rizzy7m) were opened during phase transitions or wider phase spreads. The two confirmed wins (GBPUSD rizzy5m, EURUSD rizzy7m) and the two open trades (AUDUSD, NZDUSD wkjudas) would likely have been filtered out, leaving only the EURJPY loss and possibly the USDJPY loss — a net shift from 2W/4L/2open to roughly 0W/2L/0open. This suggests the +5.1pp win-rate gain in backtest comes from skipping low-quality entries, but in this small live sample it would have removed all winners too, implying the filter is not selective for profitability but for trade frequency reduction.
