The Vacuum as a Hand-off of Information
This paper states that space is not a substance. It is the hand-off of information across the vacuum, the same passage by which one trapped gradient writes and the next hold receives. What is called the quantum foam is that traffic. A virtual pair is one hand-off, both directions at once, then cancelled. A cancelled hand-off is kept as a small increment of distance. A hand-off that is not cancelled is kept as a particle. If \(δ\) is one such increment and N is the number of them along a stretch, the length is \(L = Nδ\) The write crosses each increment at one speed. If one hand-off takes a time τ, \(c = δ/τ\) c is one increment per hand-off. It limits the write. By this account it does not limit an inertial body. The size of δ is not derived. Space is not a material, so the acoustic form \( √(K/ρ) \)is not read with \(ρ\) as a mass of vacuum. The write is electricity. It has two responses already measured: how hard the vacuum is to compress electrically, and the magnetic drag of the write. With the opposition called R and that inertia called M, \(c = √(R/M) = 1/√(ε₀μ₀) \) \(R\) stands with \(1/ε₀ \)and M stands with \(μ₀\). This is a check that the form survives. The numeral enters from those measurements. It is not produced from \(N\) and \(δ\). A cancelled hand-off adds distance and nothing to the net write. A kept hand-off leaves a particle and is not empty road. No body is shown to have exceeded \(c\). No speed for a ship is written down. The interior of a particle is the other paper.
