Simulating Methane (CH4) Transport Pathways from a Rice Crop Grown on a Degraded Fen Peat Soil using the Peatland-VU Model

Important notes for future model users that seek to simulate the Peatland-VU model The modelling data uploaded in the zipped folder called as "Swiss PeatVU Aug2026 outputs" contains the simulations conducted using the Peatland-VU model. These Peatland-VU simulations are for the specific revised manuscript (Simulating Methane (CH4) Transport Pathways from a Rice Crop Grown on a Degraded Fen Peat Soil using the Peatland-VU Model) which is under-review in the AGU Biogeosciences Journal since October 2026. There are 23 uploaded folders in the zipped folder called as "Swiss PeatVU Aug2026 outputs". When the folder is unzipped, the first folder is the "File level Metada" and 22 other folders, with each of those 22 folders containing the input and ouput files of the calibrated model, scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis. In each folder the exe file used to run the model is known as the “Methane_Output_AmeyOption2.exe” using Windows “Command Prompt”. More details, see the folder "File level Metadata" contained in the zipped folder called as "Swiss PeatVU Aug2026 outputs". The model code is avaliable at the https://osf.io/2tknr/overview
