Are Palestinian Children Beautiful Too?: Islamic View of Beauty in Picture Books About Palestine and Palestinians
ABSTRACT The ongoing genocide in Palestine is a challenging topic for many teachers, who remain silent to avoid being labeled antisemitic. Children's literature centered on the Islamic view of beauty (soul, body, action, Deen) can help teachers focus on the beauty of Palestinian children and foster empathy and global connection.
