The Temporal Fabric of Reality: Moments in Time as Fundamental Building Blocks
We propose that moments in time, infinitely divisible and dynamically shifting, constitute the fundamental fabric of reality. This hypothesis posits that time is the primal aspect of the universe, governing the emergence of spacetime, matter, and consciousness. We explore the implications of this temporal atomism, including the nature of temporal granularity, causal structure, and the emergence of our familiar spacetime. This framework offers a novel approach to reconciling quantum mechanics and general relativity, and provides new insights into the nature of consciousness and the human experience.
