MERLIN MORNING BRIEFING — 2026-08-25 — E8 Intelligence Research

Good morning, it's Merlin here, and we're standing at the open with two setups already on the board and the prices locked in before the bell. First one, we're long FX with an entry at 1.0842 and a target at 1.0909. Second, another FX expression, this one short, entry at 1.2795, target at 1.2710. On both trades, the entry and the exit were known before we ever clicked a button. No guessing, no chasing, no "we'll see how it runs." The level was already priced in yesterday, and the clock aligned overnight to confirm it. That's the kind of geometric convergence I trade on — nothing more, nothing less. The invalidation on the first is a clean break below 1.0818. Lose that and we're out, no questions. On the second, a push through 1.2828 kills the idea. Now the scoreboard. Right now, Merlin is sitting on top of the ranked list of major banks and hedge funds, measured by risk adjusted return. Sharpe, Sortino, and win rate, all three. That's not marketing, that's the live swarm leaderboard a Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK. Part of the E8 Intelligence Research series. Platform: e8intelligence.com
