TSI-AsphaLab: an Open-source Software for Calibrating and Simulating the Thermo-Stiffness Integration (TSI) Model

Abstract This study presents TSI-AsphaLab , an open-source software developed to calibrate and simulate the Thermo-Stiffness Integration (TSI) model. Based on thermodynamics concepts and the time-temperature superposition principle, the TSI model accurately represents the stiffness modulus of asphalt mixtures along a wide range of loading conditions (i.e., frequency and temperature) without requiring shift factors. TSI-AsphaLab provides an easy-to-navigate graphical interface that allows users to input experimental data, generate master curves and stiffness prediction surfaces, and evaluate the calibrated model's performance using statistical metrics. Developed in Python as a standalone Windows application, TSI-AsphaLab promotes accessible, transparent, and reproducible pavement material characterization and design.
