Systemic Offline Recalibration Framework (SORF): Sleep as Topological Smoothing and Torsional Untangling in the UROA-STCT-RQIG Manifold
Current theories of sleep—such as synaptic homeostasis [2], glymphatic clearance [1], and memory consolidation—describe isolated phenomena without answering the profound evolutionary imperative: Why must consciousness be extinguished? We propose the rigorous Systemic Offline Recalibration Framework (SORF), fundamentally elevated via Universal Rough Operator Algebra (UROA), the Seonggil Theory of Complex Torsion (STCT), and Rough Quantum Information Geometry (RQIG). We prove mathematically that waking consciousness represents a rigid geometric state that is structurally incompatible with globaltopological smoothing and torsional untangling. Sleep is not mere metabolic rest; it is an obligatory, large-scale offline geometric computation.
