Reverencing Meaning Difficult to Complete: An Independent Chapter of Jing-Rong Philosophical Reflections
Jing-Rong Philosophical Reflections (JRPR) comprises a series of independent articles, dedicated to revealing original philosophical concepts and rules grounded in Reverence (Jìng) and Vital Harmony (Róng). Meaning, Difficult to Complete (yinan jin) in textual composition is a classic proposition of shared concern in the philosophy of language, philosophy of culture, and philosophical hermeneutics. Existing studies are mostly scattered in traditional literary theory and exegetical practice, lacking systematic foundational inquiry from ontology and methodology to the ethics of transmission. Grounded in the practical contexts of creation, classical interpretation, and civilizational transmission, this article relies upon the original meta-concept Reverence, the original mind method With Reverence, Speak; With Speech, Reverencing (Mind Method of Reverencing Words), and the original core logics The Heavenly Dao Has Deficiencies and Four Key Points for Interpreting Theories/Works. It centers on the core proposition Reverencing Meaning Difficult to Complete. The inquiry unfolds through the dimensions of Difficult to Complete, Meaning (nanjin yi) in composition, composition norms, improper composition, deliberate lacunae in the classics, interpretive methods, the view of The Heavenly Dao Has Deficiencies, Reverencing Worthies (Xiān Xián), and civilizational transmission. Its aim is to present philosophical insights into the essence of creation, classical interpretation, and civilizational transmission, and to provide a referable new framework for creative practice and classical hermeneutics.
