THE ACTIVITIES OF THE "SEVINCH" WOMEN'S FOOTBALL CLUB DURING THE YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE
This article examines the history and sporting activities of FC Sevinch, one of the leading women's football clubs in Uzbekistan, during the years of independence. Particular attention is paid to the establishment of the club in Qarshi in 2003, its first bronze medal, its first national championship title in 2004, the long period of dominance in the Uzbekistan Women's Championship, its achievements in the Uzbekistan Women's Cup, futsal competitions, youth development and contribution to the development of women's football in Kashkadarya region. The article also examines the organizational changes following the club's integration into FC Nasaf in 2021. The study demonstrates that Sevinch has played a major role in the history of women's football in Uzbekistan, becoming one of the country's most successful and consistent women's football clubs and contributing significantly to the development of female players and the national football system.
