Hierarchical Computational Dimensional Taxonomy (HCDT) Elevated: Psychiatric Pathology as Topological Collapses in the UROA-STCT-RQIG Framework
The traditional Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) suffers from a fundamental disconnect with biological reality, arbitrary categorical thresholds, and unexplained phenomenological high comorbidity. While the nascent Hierarchical Computational Dimensional Taxonomy (HCDT) successfully integrates the Hierarchical Taxonomy of Psychopathology (HiTOP) [1], the Research Domain Criteria (RDoC) [2], and Active Inference [3], it demands foundational mathematical grounding. This paper radically elevates the HCDT by sublimating it into Universal Rough Operator Algebra (UROA), the Seonggil Theory of Composite Torsion (STCT), and Rough Quantum Information Geometry (RQIG). We rigorously redefine psychopathology not merely as computational errors, but as topological entrapments, torsional network entanglements, and the destruction of information geodesics within the neuro-cognitive manifold.
