VLSI Implementation of Instrumentation Amplifier
Abstract - An Instrumentation Amplifier (IA) is the differential amplifier which utilizes input buffering stages in order toprovide high input impedance, high gain, low offset voltage, and better Common-Mode Rejection Ratio (CMRR). It findsextensive application in the fields of measurements, industry, and signal processing. The existing design of IA works withinthe frequency range from 1 Hz to 200 Hz, providing the bandwidth of 6.248 kHz, the phase margin of 176°, and the CMRRof 100 dB. The aim of this study is to increase the gain, CMRR using the simulations including the transient analysis, thedifferential gain, and CMRR analysis. The architecture includes three differential amplifiers working in both input andoutput stages with the help of the feedback circuits.Tool: Cadence Virtuoso 6.1.6Technology: gpdk 45nm
