The Influence of the Reliability of Construction Workers on the Productivity of Sets Of Earthmoving and Transport Equipment
Objective: to ensure high-quality construction products within the time frame set by the project, effective functioning of construction processes is necessary. The construction time directly depends on the performance of the machinery involved in the construction process. Performance is influenced by many different factors. A number of factors are taken into account in the regulatory documentation. However there are also those that are not taken into account, for example, the reliability of construction workers. The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of the reliability of construction workers on the performance of construction machinery and its patterns. Methods: methods of economic and mathematical modeling were used, calculations were performed using formulas from reliability theory, probability theory, and queuing theory. Results: the productivity of sets of earthmoving and transport equipment and individual machines in sets is determined, taking into account the reliability of workers. Based on the calculation results, graphical dependences of the productivity of sets of equipment and individual machines in sets are constructed, taking into account the reliability of workers for a ground transportation range of 0.5–2 km of ground transportation. The influence of the reliability of construction workers on the productivity of construction machinery and its patterns is revealed. Practical significance: the results obtained can be useful to the heads of organizations in the field of transport construction. They will help to assess the organization’s ability to perform specified amounts of work efficiently and on time, taking into account such an important factor as the impact of the reliability of construction workers on the productivity of machinery.
