The Energy World as the Pre-Spatiotemporal Foundation of Physical Reality

This paper develops a cosmological framework in which observable physical reality emerges from a more fundamental domain defined as the Energy World. The Energy World is proposed as an unobservable, timeless, non-material, and non-spatiotemporal foundation containing the energetic, informational, and lawful potentials from which the Material World emerges. It is distinct from physical spacetime, the quantum vacuum, and quantum fields, all of which belong to the actualized Material World. The framework distinguishes potentiality from actuality. Before the emergence of the Material World, matter and antimatter exist as energetic and informational potentials within the Energy World, without spacetime, quantum fields, a quantum vacuum, or material structure. The Big Bang marks the initial transition through which these potentials become actualized, producing the conditions for matter, energy, spacetime, and quantum fields. Quantum fields subsequently constitute the physical interface through which further potential states become actualized within the Material World. A continuous cosmological cycle is proposed in which a black-hole-directed transition and a white-hole-like cosmic gateway are connected through the timeless Energy World. Actualized matter, energy, and information return to potential form through the black-hole-directed phase, while potential states become actualized through the white-hole-like phase. The total energetic and informational content of reality remains conserved through the cycle. Time is defined through the ordered succession of distinguishable physical configurations. The Big Bang establishes the zero point of the Material World, while the first transformation of its initial physical state establishes the first interval of time. Subsequent transformations generate successive moments and thereby the forward flow of time. Space and time consequently belong to the actualized Material World and emerge from the same underlying source, while the Energy World remains timeless and non-spatial. The framework begins from established physical principles including mass-energy equivalence, conservation, relativistic proper time, quantum fields, matter-antimatter interactions, and Planck-scale quantities, and extends them through a new model of potentiality, actualization, and continuous cosmic renewal. Mathematical relations are introduced to formalize the transition between the Energy World and the Material World and to establish a foundation for quantitative development and empirical testing.
