Synmanitik: A Research Programme on Human-AI Co-Creation of Scientific Concepts and Hypotheses
Synmanitik is proposed as a research programme on episodes in which people and AI systems develop scientific concepts, questions and hypotheses. This new standalone conceptual edition distinguishes contributions from support, human responsibility from infallibility, and internal collaboration from independent evaluation. Three recurring activities, seven methodological commitments, eight conceptual record types, ten named relation types, two invented civilian cases and four prospective research questions are specified. The connected episode record must demonstrate additional value over existing research and simpler logs containing the same substantive information. No empirical study, general human-AI synergy, verified global novelty, legal authorship rule or autonomous discipline is established. English paper with German abstract, conceptual JSON model, searchable text, README and SHA-256 manifest. Selective primary-literature reading and limits are reported. Drafting and checks were AI-assisted; no personal sentence-by-sentence author review or external peer review is asserted. This new open edition leaves older restricted records unchanged.
