Reverencing the Self-Agent: An Independent Chapter of Jing-Rong Philosophical Reflections
Jing-Rong Philosophical Reflections (JRPR) comprises a series of independent articles, dedicated to revealing original philosophical concepts and rules grounded in Reverence (Jìng) and Vital Harmony (Róng). Based on the original concepts of Cosmic Existence Law (Reverence–Vital Harmony–Unity into Oneness) and Mind Method of Inner Stillness (Reverencing the Singular, into Vital Harmony), this article explores the philosophy of Reverencing Self (Jìng Jǐ) from the core perspectives of Anchored Establishment of the Self (Lì Shēn), conduct, and interpersonal interaction. The entire text unfolds sequentially around the dialectical relationship between Reverencing Self and Reverencing Others, the respective essence of Reverence and Vital Harmony and the meaning of their unity, and the author's insights from lived experience. It clarifies the taxonomy of Reverence and Vital Harmony, the practical boundaries and criteria of Four States of Vital Harmony (Róng Zhī Sì Tài), and distills the awareness of Reverencing Risk (Jìng Xiǎn) in the formulation of maxims, the four interpersonal mind methods of Reverence and Vital Harmony (the dual-drive of the Internal-driven and External-driven, and the dual-conduct of Anchored Establishment in the Social Sphere and Vital Harmony Field) in interpersonal interaction scenarios, along with philosophical insights grounded in Reverencing Self, including Deconstruction of Dullness, Joy in Dynamic Well-being, Reverence for Learning, the stratification of Dao, and Exploration of Dao. This article has no preset research background or problem-solving objectives; it serves solely as an exposition of inherent rules, expecting to present a new perspective on interpersonal interaction and individual practice.
